the story

This work began in movement.

Dance was my first language - years of training, performing, pushing a body to its edge. It opened the door to yoga, breath, and sound, and to the question underneath all of it: how the body holds what we live through, and how it learns to let it go.

The search was personal before it was professional. Stretches of anxiety, low moods, and feeling far from myself led me to the practices that slowly brought me home.

Burnout and injury eventually made rest non-negotiable - and sound is where I found it. Gongs, singing bowls, gentle frequencies. Nothing to master, no effort to make; it works while you lie still.

Everything I offer starts there - practices that worked on me first, shared simply.

The 230-hour Daoist Flow training brought the strands together - somatic anatomy, vinyasa and qigong, breath and meditation, yogic, Buddhist and Daoist philosophy - alongside the craft of teaching itself: sequencing, safe hands-on assists, voice, and the art of reading a room.

why sound?

Stress doesn’t listen to reason. It listens to sound.

The body reads tone before it reads words - it’s why a lullaby works before language. Sound speaks straight to the system underneath the thinking: the one that decides whether you’re safe enough to rest.

a steadier baseline

The stress response stands down. Heart rate eases, breath deepens, and the jitter under everything goes quiet.

real rest

An hour in sound can feel like the deepest sleep you’ve had in weeks - and better nights tend to follow.

release

Tight shoulders, a set jaw, the heaviness you stopped noticing. What the body stores starts to move - and moves through.

a clear head

The tabs close. Thought slows to one thing at a time, and ideas start arriving instead of being chased.

People come through different doors - stress, sleep, pain, focus. The mechanism is the same: when the nervous system settles, everything above it follows.
